KABC reporter Veronica Miracle told a personal story on Twitter yesterday. One that many people didn’t know about until now.
Miracle explained in a thread, which now has hundreds of likes and comments, her father was being released from federal prison after 13 years.
“For the first time ever, my dad will see me report on TV. While he was inside, I graduated from college, got my master’s degree, started my own company and became a news reporter,” she said.
Miracle graduated from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Journalism and is now working in the second-largest TV market in the country.
“There are lot of little things (and big things) I had to do on my own. But I did it. And you can too,” she continued to say.
You can read her entire thread and the comments below. It’s unclear why her dad spent time behind bars.
