WISH anchor Lori Wilson will leave the Indianapolis CW affiliate Friday, bound for Atlanta and ABC affiliate WSB, where she will anchor weekend evening newscasts.

The Indianapolis Business Journal reports Wilson’s exit, following that of meteorologist Eboni Deon and political reporter Jim Shella, marks a period of uncertainty for WISH, which lost its CBS affiliation two years ago.

“We conducted a wide search to find [a] replacement on the weekends,” said WSB news director Misti Turnbull. “We knew immediately that Lori was the right person to join Justin Wilfon on the weekends. She has what it takes to make this highly experienced team even stronger.”
