Longtime WTOL anchor Jerry Anderson will sign off for the last time today after 40 years.

The Toledo, Ohio, anchor began his career in 1974 and joined the Raycom-owned CBS affiliate in 1980.

Earlier this month the Toledo City Council honored Anderson for his commitment to the community on and off air.
