Longtime WXIA reporter Jennifer Leslie Boettcher is leaving to become the communications director for the City of Dunwoody.

AJC.com reported the news.

“It will be nice to have a more normal schedule. I’ll miss 11Alive. I grew up there. I got married and had kids while working there. I have so many good friends and memories and stories. But for the first time in my life, I was ready for the next chapter. This came along, which was just great,” Boettcher said in an interview with the paper on Tuesday.
