Linda Church is retiring from Tribune’s New York CW affiliate WPIX.
She’s been the morning meteorologist at the station since the morning newscast launched in 2000.
Church announced the news on twitter (see below). There will be an official announcement on Monday.

According to her station bio, she was the WPIX weekend weather forecaster from 1990 to 1996.
She started her career WCJB in Gainesville, Florida and has also worked in Cleveland, Ohio, New Haven, Connecticut and Charleston, West Virginia and has worked at WCBS and WNBC in New York.
