Those of us who work in news in Springfield lost a good friend and mentor Friday night. Longtime 22 News Director Keith Silver died at the age of 80.
Keith was a pioneer in local news coverage. He began his career in radio with WSPR where he spent 8 years before becoming a reporter with 22 News and then news director.
