The Salt Lake City anchor who’s been in the news for two DUIs in the past year is out of a job.

Longtime KUTV anchor Shauna Lake has been fired after a second DUI arrest.

That’s according to Gephardt Daily and an internal memo sent to the station’s employees.

All-I just wanted you to know that Shauna is no longer with KUTV. As you are aware, she gave many years to the Salt Lake community and the station. I know we all wish her good health and happiness moving forward.

The 49-year old was arrested on a DUI suspicion in March at the Salt Lake City Airport. An officer pulled her over after she was acting erratically in the passenger pickup lane. She was also arrested in 2017. After the arrest, she made an on-air apology to viewers.

Lake joined KUTV in 1994 and most recently anchored the 5, 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts.
