The Dayton Daily News has confirmed Dan Edwards, reporter for Dayton, OH, NBC affiliate WDTN will no longer be with the station after December 31.
The Dayton BizBlog first reported the news.
“I will be looking for my next exciting opportunity and wish to stay in this area,” Edwards told the Daily News. “I have so enjoyed the opportunity. I just love tell stories about a community I love.”

Edwards has worked in the Dayton area for more than 30 years, starting in news at WHIO Radio in Dayton and later joining WDTN as a reporter.
