KTVT sports anchor Babe Laufenberg is leaving the Dallas-Ft. Worth CBS owned station.
After 17 years, CBS 11 and I could not reach a new agreement. So tomorrow will be my last show. Please watch. It has been a great 17 years.

The Dallas Morning News gave a little back story on the former NFL Quarterback’s transition to TV.
Jimmy Johnson invited Laufenberg, who played eight NFL seasons, to Cowboys training camp in 1991, but the coach decided that Steve Beuerlein would make for a better backup to Troy Aikman. And so began Laufenberg’s media sojourn that ultimately landed him in the Cowboys booth and the sports anchor job at KTVT (Channel 11).
He is staying with the Cowboys as their radio color analyst. He changed his Twitter handle from @cbs11babe to @babelaufenberg yesterday.
