KARK-KLRT in Little Rock, Ark., said goodbye to one of its favorite sports analysts and former NFL offensive lineman this weekend.

Mitch Petrus died of heat stroke while working outside for his family business last week. Petrus, a Super Bowl champion and former University of Arkansas Razorback, was 32.

“One of the nicest people I have ever met. I’ll appreciate his energy, the random phone calls, his kindness and, probably most of all, him reaching out when I was still adjusting to living in Arkansas. RIP Mitch,” said Fox 16 sports anchor Ben Creighton in his tribute.
