Meteorologist Matt Peterson is going to work at Philadelphia CBS-owned station KYW.
Peterson comes from Little Rock, Arkansas Fox and NBC affiliate KARK-KLRT where he’s worked for the last two years. He started his career at KCAU in Sioux City, Iowa.
KARK-KLRT news director Austin Kellerman tweeted the news and opened up the search for his replacement. “Congrats to @MPetersonWx on new gig with CBS Philly!,” wrote Kellerman. “That means an opportunity for someone else!”
KYW tells TVSpy Peterson was hired as a weather producer and reporter who starts Monday, April 10.
