KLKN-TV promoted reporter Brittany Jeffers Tuesday to morning and midday news anchor.
She replaces Jill Nelson Osborn, who left last week after her contract expired. Osborn, who recently married and is pregnant, plans to return to her home state of North Carolina.

Jeffers, an Ogallala native, started as an intern at KLKN, a Lincoln ABC affiliate, while she attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After she graduated with a broadcast journalism degree, Jeffers joined Channel 8 Eyewitness News as a reporter in June of 2008. More…
