TVSpy has learned Leigh Glaser, veteran meteorologist for KGO, is leaving the ABC owned San Francisco station.
Glaser has been the weekend meteorologist for 10 of the 23 years she has been with KGO.
In an email obtained by TVSpy, KGO news director Tracey Watkowski told staffers, “[Leigh] told me she wants to be able to go to 49ers games, NASCAR races and attend all of her daughter’s activities. Leigh wants to fully enjoy the family events that only happen on the weekends.”

Her last newscast will be this Sunday, April 6.
