Lauren Zenzie Leaves WTIC in Hartford, Says ‘Amazing Things on Horizon’

WTIC traffic anchor Lauren Zenzie is leaving the Hartford Fox affiliate after three years.

Zenzie announced the news on social media saying that her last day at the station was Friday.

“To everyone behind the scenes, you are all incredible, and I appreciate each and every one of you who work to put me on the air every day, and help me look my best!” she said in part. “To all of YOU, my friends, the dedicated, loyal viewers, thank you for always supporting me, sharing your stories with me, and most importantly, welcoming me into your homes every day.”

Zensie joined the station in December 2020. Before that, she worked at WWLP in Springfield, Mass.

“This is very bittersweet for me, because I have amazing things on the horizon,” she said. “Which I will share soon! It’s not a goodbye, it’s a see you soon!”
