Lauren Melendez will join Boston NBC owned station WBTS as a weekend morning co-anchor alongside Jeff Saperstone.

Melendez has spent the majority of her career at NBC affiliates in the Midwest. She started her career as a weekend anchor and investigative reporter at WEEK in Peoria, Illinois before working at WOWT in Omaha.
