KYMA Reporter Resigns After Arrest

KYMA anchor-reporter Vanessa Dillon has resigned from the station in Yuma, Ariz.

The station made the announcement today. Dillon was arrested July 29 on misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct charges. Yuma Municipal Court dismissed the charges without prejudice.

Management temporarily suspended Dillon from her on-air duties after the arrest.

Dillon’s resignation was effective Aug. 6. She tells TVSpy she resigned due the the severity of the charges.
