San Diego’s KUSI has made another hire from WVLT, the CBS affiliate in Knoxville.
Earlier this year, Tony Bernhardt Jr. joined the station as assistant news director. The independent station has hired Dani Ruberti as the newest weekday reporter and weekend morning weather anchor.
“I loved my time in Tennessee, the people there were so loving and welcoming, but I missed Southern California,” she said. “Certain doors open in your life and this opportunity presented itself. I’m honored to be part of this station. Every week we’re everywhere, and it’s so gratifying to be involved with covering so many wonderful stories of people in every area of our community.”
She graduated from University of Southern California in 2013. Prior to joining WVLT, Ruberti worked on the TMZ news desk.
