Salt Lake City ABC affiliate KTVX has hired Alana Brophy, who will report and do weather. “She’s a great weather caster, skilled anchor, and a good storyteller,” said KTVX news director George Severson.
Brophy spent part of her childhood in Utah, and began her television career in St. George. She was most recently an anchor at Boise CBS affiliate KBOI.
