Alayna Gomez is joining San Francisco Bay Area Fox-owned station KTVU as a weekend anchor and reporter.
Gomez, who comes from WVIT in Hartford, Ct., joins the station Oct. 10.
“My family and I are excited to call the Bay Area home, and I can’t wait to join the talented and legendary team at KTVU,” said Gomez.

Before WVIT, Gomez worked at WJAX in Jacksonville, Fla. She started her career at WMDT in Salisbury, Md.
