KSTP, the Hubbard Broadcasting-owned ABC affiliate in Minneapolis, has announced a major chance to its evening anchor lineup.
Longtime evening anchor Leah McLean will step into a reporter-anchor role and eliminate the 6 and 10 p.m. shows from her daily duties.
“This is something that I have been thinking about for quite some time, and I recently made the decision that I wanted to make this move. As a journalist, my first love is being in the middle of the action and seeing things as they happen up close,” McLean said
McLean will continue to anchor and report for the 5 p.m. show and Jackie Cain will anchor the 6 and 10 p.m. alongside Paul Folger.
Cain joins the station from WTAE in Pittsburgh, where she was a reporter-anchor.
