KSEE to Launch Fresno’s First 7pm Newscast

KSEE (Channel 24), Fresno’s NBC Affiliate will launch the first and only 7 p.m. local newscast on Sept. 21.

The 30 minute newscast will become Fresno’s only locally-produced television broadcast during prime time access, a time period otherwise programmed with nationally syndicated game shows, sitcoms, and entertainment magazines.


“KSEE 24 already delivers the most hours of local news programming of any television station in the Central Valley including the Bulldog Insider, which is a partnership with Fresno State University,” said Executive Producer Larry Johnson in a press release. “Our new 7 p.m. newscast will feature a fast and exciting new format delivered by its host, Carolyn Bruck. This format allows us to include greater interactivity with our viewers and a strong use of technology to share the day’s big stories and breaking news.” More…
