John Henry is leaving TEGNA’s St. Louis NBC affiliate to work at its Washington, D.C. CBS affiliate WUSA.

“We’re sad to see him go. But it’s a great opportunity for John,” KSDK GM Marv Danielski told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “But he’s going to a sister station, so we get to keep him with our company.”

Henry started at NBC affiliate KSDK in June 2014. He worked at WBIR in Knoxville, Tenn. before that.

Danielski also said the station has hired Kiya Edwards as replacement for Henry.

Edwards comes from KWQC in Davenport, Iowa. Before joining KWQC in Februuary 2014, she worked as a freelancer at 12 News in Minneapolis.
