Abby Acone is leaving Seattle ABC affiliate KOMO to work at another Seattle station.
The meteorologist and reporter announced the news of her departure from KOMO on social media, and she told viewers she would stay in the Seattle area.
“I’m so grateful for my time here,” Acone wrote. “What a dream to do what I love in my hometown. What a gift to work with such excellent and kind people.”

FTVLive reports Acone is heading to the Seattle Fox-owned station KCPQ.
Acone started working at KOMO in December 2018. Before that, she worked at KRDO in Colorado Springs, Colo.
