Rebecca Gaylord, the news director at KOCO has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
“When Rebecca first told us about the breast cancer, she had only known a few days,” The Oklahoma City ABC affiliate announced on its website. “Every day in Oklahoma City is busy and she wanted to let everyone know she was still going to be here, standing behind us and pushing us to continue our path as strong journalists.”
She starts her first round of chemotherapy today.
