Chris Kline has been named news director of Phoenix ABC affiliate KNXV.
“Now is the time for us to really look at how we’re serving our audiences, and to make sure we’re prepared for the future, wherever that audience needs us,” said Kline. “I look forward to working with our team to help share the stories that matter most to the people we serve.”
He’s worked at KNXV for eight years, serving as an executive producer, web producer and reporter. He was a convergence journalist for the Arizona Republic and also worked on Crossfire for CNN and as an adjunct faculty member at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.
