Ryan Beesley is joining Atlanta Fox-owned station WAGA as a weekend meteorologist in April.
Beesley, who comes from WATE in Knoxville, Tennessee will join Kaitlyn Pratt for Good Day Atlanta weekend mornings and will appear on the weekday Noon newscasts.
“Through his storm chases, Ryan has experienced catastrophic tornado damage firsthand,” said vp and news director Mike McClain. “He’s committed to providing our viewers with the best information and the earliest warnings when severe weather threatens.”

Beesley has also worked at WALB in Albany, Georgia and WLOX in Biloxi, Mississippi.
