KNBC Anchor Heads to ABC News—Will His Wife Join Him?

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

It’s unclear what KCBS-KCAL reporter Andrea Fujii will do now that her husband, KNBC anchor Whit Johnson, is heading to New York as a correspondent for ABC News.

As TVNewser reported, the weekend Today in LA co-anchor has accepted a correspondent position. He has been with the NBC-owned station in Los Angeles since 2012.

Fujii works for the competition. She joined the CBS-owned station in 2012.

They both came from Salt Lake City. It is unclear what the next move will be. Her bio says they have two daughters and a dog.

She’s previously worked for WJZ in Baltimore and started her career at KHON in Honolulu.
