KBMT, the NBC-ABC affiliate in Beaumont, Texas, has fired its sports director, Lance Edwards.
Edwards was arrested Thursday afternoon during a prostitution sting. He was arrested around 5 p.m. at an Econolodge in the area and charged with solicitation of prostitution.
General Manager Paul Bergen did not elaborate on details, only saying that Edwards had been terminated.

He was released on $2,500 bond.
