Megan Conway has been promoted to co-anchor of the KLKN 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts.
The Lincoln, Nebraska ABC affiliate says Conway replaces Vanessa Brown. Brown is moving back to Dallas to be with her husband who is starting a surgical residency.
Conway has worked her way up from intern to morning editor, to reporter, then weekend weather anchor, morning news co-anchor to her current promotion where she’ll sit alongside Rod Fowler as co-anchor of the evening news.
“I’m honored to have this anchoring opportunity in my home state and to be part of such a great team,” said Conway. “I’m looking forward to meeting more people and working closely with community.”
Brown’s last day was Friday. Conway starts today.
