Kimberly Dozier Leaves CBS News for AP

Kimberly Dozier, who was seriously hurt in 2006 by a car bomb in Iraq while working for CBS News, is leaving the network for a job at The Associated Press.

Dozier will be the AP’s intelligence reporter based in Washington, working with colleagues throughout the world on stories focusing on security threats to the United States and its allies, said Ron Fournier, the news agency’s Washington bureau chief.

While working on a story about the Iraq War on May 29, 2006, a Baghdad car bomb badly hurt her and killed two CBS News colleagues and a U.S. Army captain. More…
