KHOU has named general assignment reporter Tiffany Craig as its consumer reporter.
Craig started at the Houston CBS affiliate in 2010. She began her on-air career at KVII in Amarillo, Tex. She has also worked at WCFT-WJSU in Birmingham, Ala., and WKRG in Mobile.
“This year, we’ve spent a good amount of time looking for the right person to serve as our new consumer advocate reporter—someone who can tell a great story and understand what we’re trying to accomplish. Someone who’s productive and knows how to dig. Someone who has high journalistic standards and applies them to every story. A strong reporter who completely grasps the impact of what we put on the air and online,” KHOU executive news director Philip Bruce wrote about Craig in an email to staffers. “Turns out that person has been here all along.”
