Houston CBS affiliate KHOU has hired Jason Bristol as sports anchor.
A KHOU spokesperson told TVSpy Bristol starts at the station in October.
“We are so pleased to welcome Jason to KHOU,” said Susan McEldoon president and GM of KHOU. “We believe his passion for sports, in combination with his top-notch journalistic and investigative skills, will make him a great addition to our newsroom.”

Bristol comes from WHP in Harrisburg, Pa. He’s also worked at WSTM in Syracuse, N.Y.
Mike McGuff, who first reported the move says Bristol replaces Pablo Alsina who left the station in June.
