Cecilia Vega, who has been a reporter at ABC owned-and-operated KGO in San Francisco for three years, is joining ABC News as a correspondent, ABC News president Ben Sherwood announced today.
In an internal memo to ABC staffers obtained by TVNewser, Sherwood praised Vega as “a talented writer, broadcaster, and journalist.” Vega will remain based in San Francisco in her new role, which begins in October.
