Brandon Carleton has been named vp of broadcast and digital technology for ABC-owned station KGO.
Carlton comes from ABC-owned LA station KABC where he was assistant director of engineering. He started a second stint at KABC in 2004 as engineering project manager. He worked there once before between 1998 and 2003 as manager of studio engineering and operations.
“Brandon’s knowledge of broadcast and digital platforms makes him a terrific addition to the KGO leadership team, and the added bonus is Brandon is already part of the ABC Owned Station Group family,” said KGO gm Bill Burton.
Between KABC jobs, Carlton was director of engineering and operations for the NFL Network in Culver City, Calif. He’s also worked for Meridian Television Systems in Valencia, Calif., Prime Ticket in Century City, Calif., and B&B Systems, also in Valencia.
