Executives at KEYE TV say the local CBS affiliate will launch a one-hour, weekday newscast in September.
KEYE’s Ron Oliveira and Judy Maggio will anchor the show, which “will focus on all things Central Texas,” according to a statement from KEYE. That means a mix of news and highlights of local events, people and places around town.
The Show is still in development and officials at KEYE say additional announcements will be made closer to the show’s launch on Sept. 15.

KEYE already has a weekday morning show as well as 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. broadcasts. (via Austin Business Journal)
