San Antonio anchor Sarah Forgany is out of the ICU and improving one week after being placed on a ventilator and admitted to the ICU.
Her KENS co-anchor Deborah Knapp posted the news to Facebook on Wednesday.
“Her husband shared with me today that she is still in ICU but in stable condition,” wrote Knapp. “He sent me this message: ‘Continuing prayers please. Sarah is a huge, huge believer that prayers have gotten her this far.'”

Forgany’s doctors initially said her recovery could take weeks after she was put in the ICU because of complications from an undisclosed surgery.
