New England Cable News has named Kenny Plotnik VP of News.
“Kenny Plotnik is among the most experienced news leaders in the country and we’re excited to welcome him to the NECN team,” Mike St. Peter, SVP and GM of NECN said in a statement.
Plotnik last worked as VP of news at WABC in New York. Before working at WABC, he was at WPVI in Philadelphia for ten years, working as assignment manager and senior producer of special projects. He starts in his new position October 6.
NECN is the largest 24-hour regional news network in the country and is owned by NBC Universal.
