Kendis Gibson to Join WPIX in New York

Kendis Gibson is joining New York station WPIX as a 4 and 5 p.m. anchor.

Gibson posted the article from TVNewscheck about it to social media.

He comes from Miami station WFOR, which he joined in 2022 after spending two years anchoring weekends on MSNBC. Before MSNBC, Gibson spent four years at ABC News, starting out as a correspondent before co-anchoring the network’s overnight and early-morning newscasts World News Now and America This Morning. He started his local career at WJLA in Washington, D.C.
