Michael Coleman has done his last sportscast for Kansas City CBS affiliate KCTV.
Coleman announced the news his contract hadn’t been renewed at the end of his Tuesday night 10 p.m. sportscast. He told viewers that broadcast was his last and then thanked his fellow staffers and said he’d miss them all.
“We wish Michael the best and thank him for his service at KCTV5,” news director Scott Levy told TVSpy. “A search is underway for our next Sports Director.”

Coleman started working at the Meredith-owned station in 2010.
