KATV, the Sinclair owned ABC affiliate in Little Rock, Ark., has hired a new morning reporter.
Arkansas Business reports Kaila Lafferty is joining the station. She comes from Sinclair’s sister station KLEW in Lewiston, Idaho.
“Kaila is a Washington State graduate from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication,” KATV news director Nick Genty said. “While still in college she produced a regional Emmy-awarded newscast.”
Lafferty is an Edward Murrow winner. Her first day in Arkansas is Feb. 5.
