Traffic reporter Katherine Whaley, formerly of Houston CBS affiliate KHOU, made her debut last night on ABC owned KTRK as an evening traffic reporter. Prior to KHOU, Whaley worked at KVBC in Las Vegas as anchor, reporter and weathercaster.
In addition to her broadcast journalism career, Whaley is also the author of a cooking blog, Dash of Decadence which she told Houston media blogger Mike McGuff all about last month.

No word on whether Whaley is allowed to continue her blogging career while working at KTRK.
