Katherine Underwood has joined Manchester, N.H. ABC affiliate WMUR as an anchor and reporter.
On Twitter, Underwood announced she will join Erin Fehlau, Sean McDonald and meteorologist Kevin Skarupa on the morning newscast.
“After about a year away from broadcast news,” she wrote. “I’m excited to announce that I am joining the team @WMUR9”

Underwood returns to local TV news after working for a year in public relations at Racepoint Global. Before that, she worked at NECN and WBTS in Boston, Massachusetts. She’s also worked at WGME in Portland, Maine and WXXA in Albany, N,Y. She started her career at WENY in Elmira, New York.
While in college, Underwood interned on the WMUR morning show.
