KAIT to Launch NBC Affiliate

Jonesboro, Arkansas is getting an NBC affiliate.

Raycom-owned ABC affiliate KAIT has announced plans to begin broadcasting NBC. The station has not announced the details yet.

KAIT GM Chris Conroy told TVSpy the affiliate would begin broadcasting January 26.

He said the station intends to simulcast the news from Raycom’s Memphis, Tenn. NBC affiliate WMC with local content inserted.
