Kai Jackson Returns to Baltimore, Joins WBFF

bal-kai-jackson-wbff-returning-to-baltimore-an-001One year after announcing he would leave Baltimore CBS-owned station WJZ, where he had worked for twenty years, Kai Jackson revealed he would return–this time to Fox affiliate WBFF, where Jackson will become the primary co-anchor starting in January. “Kai Jackson will join the Fox 45 news operation and co-anchor with Jennifer Gilbert the 4 p.m. newscast that will launch on Jan. 19,” WBFF general manager Bill Fanshawe said Monday.

Jackson will also co-anchor the 5 p.m. and late newscasts.

Jeff Barnd, who has been the station’s primary co-anchor, will become a national correspondent for Sinclair Broadcast Group, which owns WBFF, and will report from Sinclair’s national bureau in Washington.
