Julie Chen, Les Moonves Welcome a Baby Boy

Julie Chen, “Early Show” co-anchor and host of “Big Brother,” and her husband, CBS President and CEO Les Moonves, welcomed a baby boy on Thursday morning in Los Angeles. The couple, who have been married since 2004, named the boy Charlie.

Chen gave birth at 9:40am on Thursday and CBS reports that both the mother and baby are doing well.

This is the first child for the couple and the fourth for Moonves who has three children–Adam, Michael, and Sara–from a previous marriage. “Industry types will no doubt take note of the fact that Moonves and Chen’s child arrived during the first week of the new season,” quips The Wrap.
