Joy Behar is (sort of) filling Glenn Becks shoes when she takes over the 9 p.m. time slot on HLN Tuesday night.

That’s HLN, formerly known as CNN Headline News, and that’s Joy Behar, best known as one of the BFF’s on The View. She will work two shifts starting Tuesday, fulfilling her View duties in the morning and then taping her one-woman talk show in the late afternoon.

Until last fall Ms. Behar’s time slot was occupied by Mr. Beck, now a lightning rod at the Fox News Channel. Do HLN executives regret losing Mr. Beck? Decoder isn’t a psychologist, but the Mr. Beck of 2009 would not be at home at HLN, where the brand now is “estrogen-heavy” (as the Associated Press put it). More…
