WHAS has named Josh Eure executive news director supporting the Louisville ABC affiliate.
Eure comes to the Louisville ABC affiliate from Gannett owned Phoenix station KPNX where he was assistant news director.
“Josh is the dynamic leader that we need guiding our award-winning veteran news team,” WHAS president and GM Linda Danna said in a statement. “Josh is adept at the three-screen approach to news gathering and dissemination; a necessity for the WHAS newsroom.”
Before working at KPNX, Eure was a senior producer for ABC World News Now. He also worked as a coordinating producer for World News Now and Good Morning America and at WWOR in New York, WSB in Atlanta and WFOR in Miami.
WHAS is owned by Sander Operating Co. Gannett provides operating services to the station.[Louisville Courier-Journal]
