When Katie Crowther‘s father found out she’d be interviewing Ohio Gov. John Kasich, he wanted the WTMJ reporter to tell the presidential candidate “my dad really likes you.”
She did.
Kasich asked the reporter from the Milwaukee NBC affiliate to call her dad. She did. They talked.

“Regardless of anyone’s political views, Kasich helped me score some major cool points with my Dad, and for that I’m grateful!” Crowther said on Facebook.
