John Farley no longer works at Columbia, S.C. NBC affiliate WIS.
Farley told viewers last night his contract wasn’t renewed, but that he and his family were staying in the area.
“My future is coming together, but it’s not precisely clear right now where that goes,” Farley told viewers. “One thing is for sure. We are staying here in the Midlands. It is my hope that I see you down the road.”

Before joining WIS in 2010, Farley worked at KNTV in San Jose, Calif. for 13 years.
