About a week after GM Elliott Wiser stepped down from WTSP, chief meteorologist Jim Van Fleet is out at the Tampa CBS affiliate.
A WTSP spokesperson told TVSpy Van Fleet’s contract wasn’t renewed.
FTVLive, who first reported the news, said Van Fleet wouldn’t talk about his departure and has hired a lawyer.
Van Fleet had been the weekday morning meteorologist at WOFL in Orlando for ten years before joining WTSP in December 2011.
